A Festive Message from Our Team
As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and a happy, prosperous 2025. Reflecting on 2024, it’s clear that it’s been a challenging year for many, both within our clinic and in our circles of family and friends. We’ve heard heart-breaking stories and seen people face immense trials.
Personally, it’s been a year filled with challenges—family issues, health concerns, and even house troubles. Yet, through it all, I’ve learned the importance of rocking up with a smile and finding joy, even in tough times!
Finding Joy and Resilience
I’ve discovered that joy is transformative. When you fake a smile, it often turns into real happiness, and that positivity becomes infectious. Joy is a powerful force, and I’m determined to carry it into 2025. No matter how bleak things may look at times, I truly believe things always get better. We’ve been encouraging everyone at the clinic to approach the new year with excitement and enthusiasm. By focusing on positive thinking and manifesting good health and prosperity, we can uplift ourselves and those around us.
Setting the Stage for a Great 2025
Preparation is key. Just as achieving a goal like getting fit takes consistent effort over time, creating a positive year ahead requires starting now. Let’s focus on gratitude and embrace the things that bring us happiness, no matter how small they may seem. Even when things go awry—whether it’s a broken oven or a missing jar of cranberries—let’s remember that there are always people and animals who would swap places with us in a heartbeat. Gratitude helps us see the beauty in our lives and strengthens our resilience.
My Highlights of 2024
To inspire reflection and gratitude, I’ve compiled my 12 favorite moments from 2024. These aren’t grand milestones, but they’ve brought joy and meaning to my year:
January: Discovered resilience I didn’t know I had!
February: Reconnected with a friend over a wonderful meal.
March: Celebrated Kev’s birthday and won the women’s darts heats (not Kev!).
April: Came third in the darts final—a victory given our novice skills!
May: Enjoyed lovely weather and two bank holidays.
June: Rescued a ragged, half-dead cat, Rex, who’s now blossomed into the cutest Tom cat.
July: Spent a fabulous weekend at Oulton Hall for my sons birthday.
August: Shared an exceptional Indian meal with dear friends Nicola and Chrissy, complete with outstanding service.
September: Attended a fantastic business meeting weekend in Wolverhampton.
October: Saw Rex (the cat) thrive and celebrated Halloween with a memorable murder mystery evening.
November: Took a nostalgic trip down memory lane with an old friend.
December: Enjoyed festive moments, including the staff night out and holiday activities.
Looking Ahead to 2025
Reflecting on these moments has filled me with gratitude and excitement for the year ahead. None of these highlights involve huge events like winning the lottery, but they’ve brought immense joy and meaning to my life.
Let’s all make 2025 an incredible year by focusing on positivity, gratitude, and the things that matter most. From all of us at the clinic—Linda, Kevin, Nikki, Emily, the rest of the team, and of course, the magical Mister Rex—we wish you a joyful Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!
